• Bluff-top & direct ocean-facing homes (Sea Pointe Estates, Cyprus Shore, Cotton’s Point): every 6–8 weeks. Direct Pacific exposure means salt film builds fastest here.
• Mid-coastal areas (Pier Bowl, Downtown, Marblehead): every 8–10 weeks.
• Inland & foothill areas with irrigation exposure (Talega, Forster Ranch, Rancho San Clemente): every 10–12 weeks, though hard water spotting from sprinklers often pushes this shorter on ground-floor glass specifically.

Why the Range Is So Wide

Two homes a mile apart can need very different schedules. A bluff-top property facing directly into the marine layer and salt spray will haze over far faster than a similar home set back from the coast. Story height, landscaping, and irrigation placement all shift the number too.
